Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Northeastern District

Stolen car: A 1993 Plymouth Sundance with tags PTP 595 was stolen Tuesday in the 6000 block of Alta Ave.

Burglary: A compact disc player and more than 100 compact discs, all valued at more then $2,000, were stolen Tuesday from a home in the 3500 block of Cascade Ave.

Northern Police

Stolen car: A red 1991 Plymouth Sundance with tags ZEC 835 was stolen Tuesday in the 3400 block of Oakenshaw Place.

Southwestern District

Robbery: Two men wearing ski masks and dark clothing robbed a deliveryman for LaPizza in the 3100 block of Frederick Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money, two pizzas and a cheese sub Tuesday night as the victim was about to deliver an order in the 400 block of S. Augusta Ave. One of the men was armed with a handgun.

Robbery: A 44-year-old Anne Arundel County man was in the 500 block of S. Smallwood St. on Tuesday night when he was attacked by several youths who struck him with their fists and robbed him of nearly $40.

Southeastern District

Robbery/arrest: A man yesterday entered Superian Threads in the 1700 block of Thames St. in Fells Point and gave an employee a note saying he was armed and wanted money. The man left with a small sum of cash and was walking on South Broadway when the employee flagged down a police officer, who arrested the man. Charged with robbery and theft is John C. Sullivan, 26, of the 2200 block of E. Fairmount Ave.

North Point Precinct

Robbery: A 45-year-old man was in the 7900 block of Eastern Blvd. on Tuesday when a man wearing dark clothing, a black mask and armed with a knife, robbed him of more than $40.

Theft: Between Oct. 3 and Oct. 7, 1,400 feet of electrical cable, valued at $15,000, was stolen from a building at Eastern Avenue and Rolling Mill Road.

Theft: Tools, speakers, stereo equipment and cassette tapes, all valued at more than $1,500, were stolen Tuesday from a 1987 Toyota 4-by-4 parked in the 7500 block of Ives Lane.

Essex Precinct

Arson: A sofa was placed against the front door of the Village Thrift Shop in the 1300 block of Eastern Blvd. on Monday night and set on fire, causing minor damage.

Towson Precinct

Shooting: At least four rifle shots were fired from the Towson Town Center garage in the 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road toward the parking lot of Dulaney Plaza, across the street, about 12:45 a.m. Tuesday. One bullet ricocheted off a car and struck a 31-year-old man in the stomach but did not penetrate the skin. Police said there was no evidence the man was intentionally shot and that no medical treatment was required.

Burglary: More than $3,000 worth of golf equipment was stolen Tuesday from the pro shop at the Country Club of Maryland in the 1100 block of Stevenson Lane.

Burglary: A TV and VCR, all valued at less than $100, were stolen from Towson Senior High School in the first block of Cedar Ave. between Saturday and Monday.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: An undisclosed sum of money was stolen yesterday from a desk drawer at the Hair Cuttery in the 4600 block of Wilkens Ave.
