Three men robbed a Millersville Crown gas station yesterday of an undisclosed amount of money and merchandise, county police said.

Police say the men -- one of them armed with a sawed-off shotgun -- were dressed in dark ski hats, bandannas and dark clothes when they walked into the station, in the 8200 block of Veteran's Highway, shortly after midnight. One of the men pointed the gun at the clerk and demanded money, police said. The clerk complied, and two of the men emptied the cash register, police said.

The bandits also stole several packs of cigarettes and some snack food, police said. They ran east on Old Mill Road, police said.
