Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Northeastern District

Burglary: A 27-inch television, stereo equipment, a gold watch and a safe containing money, all valued at nearly $3,300, were stolen Monday from a house in the 3500 block of Juneway.

Burglary: Three 19-inch TVs, a word processor and an electronic TV game, all valued at more than $1,600, were stolen Monday from a house in the 3400 block of Cardenas Ave.

Robbery: A resident of the 3900 block of Dudley Ave. was walking near her home Monday when a man threw her to the ground and stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $30.

Theft/arrest: Police arrested a man who tried to leave Stop, Shop & Save at Northwood Shopping Center in the 1500 block of Havenwood Road on Monday without paying for candy and a basketball.

Robbery: A woman was walking in the 4200 block of Nicholas Ave. on Monday when a man approached her from behind and stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $15.

Stolen car: A Burgundy 1990 Acura with tags CKW 332 was stolen Monday in the 4800 block of Hamilton Ave.

Robbery: A resident of the 1400 block of Carswell St. was walking near his home Monday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of a gold necklace, a pair of boots, a jacket and a watch, all valued at nearly $700.

Northwestern District

Shooting: A man was shot in the left leg Monday when he was assaulted by three other men in the 5100 block of Elmer Ave. He was treated at Sinai Hospital and released.

Burglary: Property valued at $400 was stolen Monday from a house in the 5800 block of Clover Road.

Eastern District

Robbery: A man was in the 1600 block of Latrobe St. yesterday when a man known as "Butchy" pulled a knife and robbed him of $10.

Robbery: A man armed with an unknown weapon robbed another man of his wallet and $200 in the 1800 block of Ashland Ave. on Monday.

Burglary: A TV and cordless telephone, all valued at nearly $800, were stolen yesterday from a house in the 1700 block of Barclay St.

Carjacking: A motorist was in the 1500 block of Brentwood Ave. on Monday when he was forced out of his four-door 1985 Pontiac by two men who threatened to beat him with their fists. The car, with tags BMY 624, still is missing.

Northern District

Stolen car: A white 1990 Subaru station wagon with unknown temporary Pennsylvania tags was stolen Monday in the 400 block of Rosekemp Ave.

Theft: Police were seeking a woman who stole property valued at $24 from Pic & Pay shoes in the 5600 block of The Alameda on Monday.

Southwestern District

Stolen car: A 1994 Plymouth Voyager with tags ACB 06A was stolen Monday in the 1000 block of Wedgewood Road.

Burglary: More than $200 in dimes was stolen Monday from a home in the 2400 block of Christian St.

Stolen car: A 1995 Dodge Spirit with District of Columbia tags R18130 and owned by a Baltimore City police officer was stolen Monday in the 600 block of Queensgate Road. In the car was a portable police radio and three body-armor vests.

Robbery: A 24-year-old woman was in the 600 block of Walnut Ave. on Monday when a man in his early 20s stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $300, and drove off in a Chevrolet Iroc.

North Point Precinct

Theft: Someone stole a 22-inch bike valued at more than $200 from the 1600 block of Four Georges Court on Monday.

Theft/arrest: Police arrested a man Monday when he tried to leave the Sears, Roebuck and Co. store at Eastpoint Mall in the 7800 block of Eastern Ave. without paying for more than $50 worth of gloves.

Burglary: A telephone and tape recorder, all valued at more than $160, were stolen Monday from a house in the 2700 block of North Point Road.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Jewelry valued at nearly $100 was stolen Monday from Japoniji Jewelers in the 6300 block of Falls Road. Entry was gained by breaking a window.

Robbery: A 52-year-old resident of the 1100 block of Litchfield Road was walking near her home Monday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $60.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered the Manor Tavern in the 15800 block of Old York Road in Monkton through a second-floor window Monday and stole an undisclosed sum of money from a cabinet.
