Oakland Mills: 9000 block of Red Branch Road: A burglar broke the glass of a business' bay door, entered and stole a computer printer Tuesday morning.

Oakland Mills: 8600 block of Centre Park Drive: Police said someone entered a Subway sandwich shop with a key, broke into an inside office, opened a combination safe and stole cash Monday night or Tuesday morning.

Owen Brown: 7100 block of Oakland Mills Road: Someone set off a burglar alarm when trying to break into a trailer at Enginuity Auto Repair Inc. early Wednesday. Police said nothing was taken.

Owen Brown: 7100 block of Talisman Lane: A gray 1988 Mercury Topaz with Maryland tags CRF-278 was stolen Wednesday, police said.

Owen Brown: 6300 block of Windharp Way: A burglar broke into a home through a rear basement window, ransacked the home and stole jewelry Thursday, police said.

Kings Contrivance: 9700 block of Early Spring Way: Someone entered a woman's home through an unlocked door and took cash from her purse while she picked up her grandchildren from a bus stop Wednesday afternoon, police said.

Oakland Mills: 5400 block of Twin Knolls Road: Cash and computer equipment were taken from a business after a burglar entered through the ceiling of an empty supply closet Tuesday, police said.

Oakland Mills: 5400 block of Twin Knolls Road: A woman told police she saw a man wearing only shoes and socks standing outside her office Thursday, police said.
