Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Northeastern District

Robbery: A resident of the 1200 block of Lakeside Ave. was riding at The Alameda and 33rd Street yesterday when a man who implied he had a handgun robbed him of his bike, valued at more than $100.

Robbery: A 56-year-old resident of the 4100 block of Montana Ave. was in the 5500 block of Belair Road on Saturday when he was assaulted by a man who robbed him of $80.

Central District

Robbery: A 12-year-old boy from the 800 block of W. Lombard St. was riding his bike Saturday in the 100 block of E. Pratt St. when a man knocked him down and stole the bike, valued at nearly $300.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a 32-year-old resident of the 4000 block of Woodhaven Ave. of jewelry valued at $34 in the 1700 block of Pennsylvania Ave. on Saturday.

Theft: Someone entered a truck parked in the first block of E. Redwood St. on Saturday and stole buckets, mops and tools, all valued at more than $100.

Theft: A computer and a cellular phone, with a total value put at more than $3,000, were stolen Saturday from a vehicle parked in the first block of E. Preston St. by someone who broke a window.

Theft: A cellular phone and a backpack were stolen from a van parked in the 600 block of Light St. on Saturday by someone who broke a window.

Northwestern District

Robbery: Two men assaulted a resident of the 4900 block of Nelson Ave. on Saturday in the 4800 block of Cordelia Ave. and robbed him of more than $100.

Shooting/robbery: A 23-year-old resident of the 4800 block of Laurel Ave. was listed in fair condition yesterday at Sinai Hospital after he was shot in the lower back Saturday afternoon during a robbery in the 4300 block of Reisterstown Road. After taking the victim's money, one of two men pulled out a handgun and shot him..

Cab holdup: A driver for the Royal cab company was in the 2800 block of N. Dukeland St. on Saturday when two men he had picked up demanded his money. After taking an undisclosed sum, the men fled on foot toward the Mondawmin Metro station.

Burglary: Someone entered the Sunlight grocery store in the 4700 block of Reisterstown Road yesterday and stole 50 cartons of cigarettes, 15 boxes of candy bars, 10 boxes of cold medicine and several home permanent kits, all valued at more than $1,000. A wall was broken to gain entry from an adjoining building.

Southern District

Theft: A man was walking his 2-month-old pit bull terrier in the 2600 block of Maisbury Court yesterday when a man grabbed the dog and began to walk away. When the victim yelled, the thief said he was taking the dog in return for $70 the victim owed him and left with the puppy in a black Hyundai.

Burglary: Someone entered the maintenance garage at the Mount Auburn Cemetery in the 2600 block Hollins Ferry Road over the weekend and stole two 28-inch industrial lawn mowers, each valued at $5,600.

Robbery: A man was in the 900 block of Dantrey Court on Saturday when a gunman robbed him of cash and property, all valued at nearly $200.

Burglary: Someone entered Kay's Beauty Act in the 1200 block of W. Pratt St. through the front door yesterday and stole property valued at more than $500.

Northern District

Robbery: A 45-year-old resident of the 3800 block of Kimble Road was in the 600 block of E. 34th St. on Saturday when two youths forced him onto the ground and robbed him of $70.

Essex Precinct

Robbery: A 45-year-old Dundalk resident was at Darkhead and Vailthorn roads Saturday when he was assaulted by another man who robbed him of more than $200.

Robbery: A resident of Norham Court was about to enter her home Friday night when three youths robbed her of her purse containing $10.

Robbery: Police were seeking a two men, one with a handgun, who accosted a resident of the first block of Fenway North at the Riverdale Apartments outside his home Friday and robbed him of cash and property, all valued at more than $500.

Parkville Precinct

Theft: While attending a party in the first block of Begonia Court on Oct. 28, one of several guests stole a video camera valued at more than $800. The theft was reported yesterday.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a garage in the 2700 block of Tufton Road and stole a cellular phone from a 1995 Jeep, a radar detector from a 1995 Saab and a yellow Suzuki motorcycle.

Woodlawn Precinct

Burglary: Someone broke into a storage locker in the basement of an apartment in the 6900 block of Bexhill Road Friday and stole antique china and other items, all valued at nearly $2,000.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: Fifteen bottles of liquor and $14 in cash were stolen yesterday from a house in the 4100 block of Annapolis Road by someone who entered through a side door.

Robbery: A man who implied he had a handgun robbed a restaurant in the 6500 block Baltimore National Pike of more than $100 Saturday night.
