Bullets tonight

November 03, 1995

Opponent: Philadelphia 76ers

Site: The Spectrum, Philadelphia

Time: 7:30 p.m.

TV/Radio: Channel 50/WWLG (1360 AM), WTEM (570 AM)

Outlook: Both teams sport new looks, although the Sixers are healthy enough to put all their additions on the court. The Sixers (24-58) signed G Vernon Maxwell and F Richard Dumas as free agents, and Maxwell will spend much of his time at the point. But they're most excited about F/G Jerry Stackhouse, who may be (( the league's top rookie. Washington's new look will be at point guard, with newly acquired Robert Pack being pressed into action in the opener. With injuries to F Chris Webber (separated shoulder) and G Mark Price (sore left foot), the Bullets will be led by second-year F Juwan Howard (17.0 ppg, 8.4 rpg). The team yesterday de-activated assistant coach Derek Smith. F Rasheed Wallace will make his NBA debut in his hometown.
