Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Northeastern District

Robbery: A man was walking in the 1800 block of Odell Ave. on Wednesday when a gunman robbed him of more than $100.

Robbery: A man was in the 5700 block of Sinclair Lane on !B Wednesday when a gunman robbed him of cash and property, all valued at nearly $900.

Robbery: A resident of the 5500 block of Leith Road was assaulted by two men in the 5600 block of Woodmont Ave. on Wednesday and robbed of nearly $100.

Stolen car: A 1995 Toyota Avalon with tags CIZ 749 was stolen Wednesday in the 1200 block of Armistead Way.

Theft: A TV valued at $200 was stolen Wednesday from a house in the 7200 block of Sauers Court.

Central District

Robbery: An out-of-town man was in the 800 block of George St. on Wednesday when he was assaulted by a man who stole his $80 boots.

Robbery: A gunman robbed a resident of the 1800 block of Madison Ave. of $30 Wednesday in the 800 block of W. North Ave.

Robbery: A 22-year-old man was in the 300 block of W. Saratoga St. on Wednesday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of nearly $300.

Northwestern District

Robbery: Two men entered the Kiseo carryout in the 5100 block of Park Heights Ave. on Wednesday and robbed a customer of a pager after assaulting him with their fists.

Western District

Shooting: A 26-year-old man was at McKean Avenue and Presbury Street on Wednesday night when a man shot him. The victim ran to a house in the 1700 block of McKean Ave. He was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital. He was in stable condition yesterday.

Northern District

Robbery/arrest: An 89-year-old woman was about to enter her home in the 2900 block of Guilford Ave. on Wednesday when a man approached from behind, choked her and stole her purse. Three people who witnessed the incident chased the man and held him for police. The woman's property was recovered.

Robbery: Two men entered Field's Old Trail Bar in the 5700 block of York Road on Wednesday afternoon and announced a holdup. After taking money from the cash register, the men robbed six patrons of their money.

Stolen car: A 1986 Nissan with tags CPB 290 was stolen Wednesday in the 600 block of Harwood Ave.

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed the Mars supermarket in the 9600 block of Harford Road of an undisclosed sum of money. After fleeing the store and changing their clothes, the men drove off in a 1988 Mazda that had been stolen a short time before.

White Marsh Precinct

Carjacking: An employee of Overlea Caterers in the 6800 block of Belair Road was about to park his 1990 Ford van at work Wednesday when a man wearing a ski mask got into the vehicle and robbed him of $60. After driving the van around for several minutes, the man stopped it several blocks from the robbery scene and escaped on foot.

Burglary: Property valued at more than $3,000 was stolen Wednesday from a house in the 12300 block of Philadelphia Road.

North Point Precinct

Robbery: A man was at Main and Chestnut streets in Turners Station on Wednesday when he was knocked to the ground by a man who stole his pager valued at more than $100.
