Police are looking for a Baltimore man who failed to return to the county detention center Saturday after he left for his work-release job Friday, county police said.

Kenneth Leon Blake, 31, of the 4100 block of Haige Ave. in Baltimore left the detention center shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday for his job at TMI Construction Co. in the 1800 block of Jackson Grove Road in Odenton.

Blake was scheduled to return to the Jennifer Road facility by 7 p.m., police said. When he had not returned by 11 p.m., a guard called police. He was serving a one-year sentence for passing bad checks.
