Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Western District

Assault: A resident of the 1400 block of N. Mount St. was near his home Sunday when he was attacked by two men who struck him with their hands and kicked him, causing facial and head injuries.

Theft: A woman's purse containing cash and property, all valued at $10, was stolen Sunday from New Mount Zion Baptist Church in the 800 block of N. Mount St.

Shooting: A 15-year-old resident of the 700 block of George St. was at Carey and Lanvale streets Sunday when a man got out of a blue minivan and shot him several times. Witnesses reported the gunman continued shooting at the victim as he drove away. The victim was in critical condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Northeastern District

Stolen car: A 1995 Buick with Pennsylvania tags AWV8951 was stolen Sunday in the 4500 block of Shamrock Ave.

Burglary: Property valued at $75 was stolen from an apartment in the 5000 block of Conant Way over the weekend.

Burglary: Someone entered Lakein's Jewelers of Hamilton in the 5400 block of Harford Road on Sunday after breaking the front window and stole several watches valued at more than $200.

Robbery: An elderly couple were walking near their home in the 3200 block of Brendan Ave. on Sunday when they were accosted by two men, who shoved the man against a car and robbed him of cash and property, all valued at $56. The woman was robbed of $25.

Burglary: A TV, VCR, two gold chains, bracelets and earrings, all valued at more than $9,000, were stolen over the weekend from a house in the 3400 block of Parklawn Ave.

Burglary: An auto jack, tools and other items, all valued at more than $600, were stolen Sunday from a garage in the 2800 block of Mayfield Ave.

Robbery: A resident of the 4400 block of Loch Raven Blvd. was near his home Sunday when two men robbed him of cash and jewelry, all valued at more than $200.

Robbery: A man was in the 1500 block of Winford Road on Sunday when an unarmed man robbed him of cash and property, all valued at $30.

Burglary/arrest: Police responding to a burglary in the 4200 block of LaSalle Ave. on Sunday arrested a man inside a house. No property was stolen and the man was being held pending charges.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A woman was walking in the 3100 block of Parkington Ave. on Sunday when a man robbed her of cash and property, all valued at nearly $400.

Robbery: A couple was in the 3000 block of Oakhill Ave. on Saturday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed them of cash and property, all valued at more than $500.

Burglary: Tools valued at $400 were stolen Sunday from a house being renovated in the 3800 block of Bonner Road.

Burglary: Property valued at $170 was stolen Sunday from a house in the 3100 block of Woodland Ave.

Burglary: Appliances and tools, all valued at more than $1,200, were stolen Sunday from a house in the 3400 block of Piedmont Ave.

Southwestern District

Robbery: A man was in the 5000 block of Clifton Ave. yesterday when a gunman robbed him of cash and jewelry, all valued at more than $300.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Two shotguns were stolen Sunday from a house in the 8600 block of Trump Mill Road.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Jewelry and a VCR, all valued at more than $5,000, were stolen Sunday from a house in the first block of Rosecrans Place.

Burglary: Jewelry and clothing, all valued at nearly $8,000, were stolen Sunday from a home in the 2500 block of Lampost Lane.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: TV game equipment valued at $200 was stolen Sunday from a house in the 8400 block of Loch Raven Blvd.

Stolen van: A 1994 Plymouth Voyager with tags 641559 and valued at $12,000 was stolen Sunday in the 1300 block of Limit Ave.

North Point Precinct

Dog theft: A couple stole a Yorkshire terrier, valued at $900, from Pet Trax at Eastpoint Mall in the 7800 block of Eastern Ave. on Sunday.

Theft/arrest: A 30-year-old woman was arrested Sunday when she tried to leave the Giant food store in the 1100 block of Merritt Blvd. without paying for three curling irons, four cameras, a pair of scissors and other items.

Burglary: A customized 1989 Chevrolet van with tags FOP 711 -- owned by an Anne Arundel County police officer -- was stolen Sunday from Ken's Auto Repair and Service in the 8000 block of Pinewood Road.

Burglary: Jewelry valued at $2,000 was stolen Sunday from a house in the 2000 block of Paulette Road.

Burglary: A 19-inch TV valued at nearly $300 was stolen Sunday from a house in the 2900 block of Wells Ave.
