Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Western District

Robbery: A teen-ager from the 1800 block of W. Lexington St. was riding his bicycle in the 1800 block of Penrose Ave. Saturday when a man knocked him to the ground and stole the bicycle, valued at more than $100.

Cab holdup: A driver for the Yellow Cab company was robbed at gunpoint Saturday by two men who had flagged her down on Stockton Street. They fled with the cabbie's purse containing cash and property, all valued at $70.

Cutting: Two men were arguing in the 1100 block of Riggs Ave. Saturday when one cut the other on the head with a 6-inch knife. The victim, a resident of the 1100 block of Riggs Ave., was treated at Maryland General Hospital for head and ear lacerations. The assailant remained at large.

Eastern District

Stolen car: A four-door green 1993 Dodge with dealer tags 1A59820 was stolen yesterday from the 2000 block of Cliftwood Ave.

Stolen car: Police were seeking a silver-colored 1992 Ford with tags ACA 934 that was stolen Saturday from the 1400 block of Holbrook St.

Robbery: A gunman robbed the Rite-Aid pharmacy in the 1600 block of N. Patterson Park Ave. on Saturday of a cash register drawer containing an undisclosed sum of money. The robbery was filmed on a surveillance camera, and police were seeking a suspect.

Northeastern District

Assault/dog bite: A man with a Rottweiler told his dog to bite a man on Denwood Avenue on Saturday and the dog did. The victim, a resident of the 5700 block of Denwood, refused medical treatment. The other man and the dog were being sought.

Assault: A woman was near her home in the 4600 block of Freedom Way on Saturday when two men, both known to her, struck her with their hands and a brick, injuring her face.

Robbery: A resident of the 1500 block of E. 36th St. was riding his bicycle near his home when an older youth struck him and stole the bicycle.

Northern District

Stolen car: Police were seeking a 1984 Toyota Camry with 45-day temporary tags that was stolen Saturday from the 3500 block of Old York Road.

Robbery: A man with an unknown weapon robbed a resident of the 2700 block of Edmondson Ave. of $90 in the 3300 block of Frisby St. on Saturday.

Southwestern District

Burglary: Fifty compact discs were stolen Saturday from a house in the 3600 block of Coolidge Ave. by someone who entered through a window.

Stolen car: A black 1991 Jeep with tags 692790M was stolen Saturday from the 300 block of S. Augusta Ave.

Robbery: A resident of the 2100 block of Crimea Road was in the 1900 block of Forest Park Ave. on Saturday afternoon when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of more than $200.

Stolen car: A gray 1992 Infiniti G20 with tags CNG 725 was stolen Saturday from the 5300 block of Lantern Court.

White Marsh Precinct

Stolen car: Someone stole a 1983 Toyota Cressida with tags CNG 376 Saturday from the parking lot of White Marsh Mall.

Theft: A John Deere lawn tractor valued at nearly $2,000 was stolen Saturday from the Gunpowder Business Park in the 12000 block of Pulaski Highway.

Theft: Photographic strobe lights valued at nearly $900 were stolen Saturday from a 1985 Toyota Celica parked in the 9000 block of Pulaski Highway. The thief broke a window to enter the vehicle.

Theft: Someone stole a 27-inch, 12-speed mountain bicycle valued at more than $100 from outside a house in the 4700 block of Raspe Ave. on Saturday.

Essex Precinct

Shooting: A 28-year-old resident of the 1200 block of Damsel Road was at Walnut Grove Road and South Marlyn Avenue early Saturday when a man shot him in the chest with a large-caliber handgun. The gunman drove off in a red hatchback-type car, and remained at large. The victim was listed in serious condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center yesterday.

North Point Precinct

Theft: Someone entered a 1987 Chevrolet truck parked in the 1500 block of Merritt Blvd. on Saturday and stole stereo equipment and cassette tapes, all valued at nearly $400.

Theft: The motor of a 1993 Regency outboard boat and a quantity of fishing equipment, all valued at nearly $12,000, were stolen Saturday while the boat was in the driveway of a house in the 3300 block of Martini Ave.

Theft: A fish-finder and several fishing rods and reels, all valued at more than $1,600, were stolen Saturday from a boat parked in the 2100 block of Jasmine Road.

Theft: A multispeed mountain bicycle valued at $700 was stolen Saturday from the 8100 block of Eastern Blvd.

Stolen cycle: A 1995 Suzuki motorcycle valued at more than $4,000 was stolen Saturday from the 1900 block of Walnut Ave.

Burglary: Someone stole a table set, night stand and other property, all valued at more than $500, from a public storage locker in the 6800 block of Rolling Mill Road on Saturday.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered Record and Tape Traders in the 700 block of Dulaney Valley Road on Saturday and stole 50 compact discs valued at nearly $1,800.

Burglary: Jewelry valued at more than $10,000 was stolen from a house in the 6700 block of Pimlico Road over the weekend by someone who entered through a rear door.
