A 37-year-old Westminster man has been charged with 83 counts of child sex abuse and related charges.
The man, of East Main Street, is not being identified to protect his stepson, the alleged victim.
The man, who is being held on $250,000 bail at the county Detention Center, is charged with 11 counts of child abuse, nine counts of second-degree sex offense, 19 counts each of third- and fourth-degree sex offense, eight counts each of unnatural and perverted sexual practice, battery and assault, and one count of sodomy.
