A 43-year-old man died at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center 22 hours after being found unconscious and suffering from a gunshot wound outside a county hospital.

An anonymous tip led police to a Pontiac Grand Am on the North Arundel Hospital parking lot. Police found the man in the car at 1:07 a.m. Friday.

The victim, Neal Charles Fitze Jr., had no fixed address. He was treated at North Arundel's emergency room before being transferred to the trauma center, where he died at 11 p.m. Friday, a hospital official said.

Police said they consider the death a homicide and have no suspects.
