Fast-food restaurant robbed at drive-through

Two males walked up to a McDonald's drive-through window in Columbia and demanded fast cash, Howard County police said.

Employees at the restaurant in the 8300 block of Benson Drive in Columbia's Long Reach village told police that about 9:45 p.m. two robbers walked up to the outside window used to serve burgers and fries to paying motorists.

The robbers told an employee they were armed, took an undetermined amount of cash from the worker and ran away, police said.

No one was injured.
