Man robbed while waiting for cab in lot

Two armed men got out of a car and robbed a man waiting for a cab at the Long Reach Village Center in Columbia early rTC yesterday, Howard County police said.

The 44-year-old victim told police he saw a white Geo Tracker occupied by four men cruising the parking lot in the 8700 block of Tamar Drive at 12:30 a.m., police said.

The vehicle eventually stopped near him, two men armed with handguns got out and demanded cash, got back into the car and fled with the undisclosed amount of money, police said.

The victim could not give police complete descriptions of the men.
