A Domino's pizza delivery man was punched in the face, but escaped a robbery attempt by two teens in North Laurel on Monday afternoon, Howard County police said.

The employee was not seriously injured.

Police said the driver had delivered food to a resident of the 9400 block of Canterbury Riding at about 5:25 p.m. and got into his vehicle. Two teens approached and demanded his money and pizzas.

The worker immediately shifted his car into reverse and began to drive away when one of the teens struck him in the face, police said.
