Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Central District

Burglary: Five tubs of paint valued at more than $400 were stolen yesterday from an apartment in the 600 block of Eutaw Place.

Burglary: A fax machine valued at $500 was stolen early yesterday from behind the bar at Burke's Cafe at 36 Light St. There was no sign of forced entry.

Robbery: A 9-year-old boy was riding his mountain bike in the 2500 block of Eutaw St. when an older youth knocked him to the ground Sunday and stole the bike, valued at $150.

Shooting: A resident of the 900 block of Argyle Ave. was in the Club Casino in the 1500 block of Pennsylvania Ave. on Saturday night when a man shot him in the stomach. The victim was in serious condition yesterday at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Western District

Shooting: Two men were shot inside an apartment in the first block of N. Fulton Ave. on Sunday night and were in critical but stable condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. The men, one from the 700 block of N. Carrollton Ave., the other from Westminster in Carroll County, were forced into the apartment by two gunmen who shot them during an attempted robbery.

Northern District

Robbery: A woman was walking in the 3000 block of N. Charles St. on Sunday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $40.

Robbery/arrest: Police arrested a man who robbed a resident of the 400 block of Whitridge Ave. of jewelry near the victim's home Sunday. The suspect was arrested a short distance from the scene by police who were given his description by the victim.

Stolen car: A green 1994 Dodge van with tags 6552 00M was stolen Sunday in the 500 block of Harwood Ave.

Robbery: Two men assaulted a man in the 2400 block of Guilford Ave. on Sunday and robbed him of his wallet and $70.

Robbery: A resident of the 3200 block of Keswick Road was near his garage Sunday when he was attacked by another man who knocked him to the ground and robbed him of $40.

Robbery: A state Division of Correction officer was in the 1600 block of Odell Ave. on Sunday when a gunman robbed him of two pairs of uniform pants and shirts, shaving gear and a carrying bag, all valued at nearly $90.

Assault: A motorist was stopped in the 5300 block of Sinclair Lane on Sunday morning when the driver of a blue Toyota pulled next to him and fired a shot from a handgun, missing the motorist. Police said the incident followed an argument between the men over a woman.

Northwestern

Robbery: A resident of the 3500 block of Garrison Blvd. was near his home Sunday when a man armed with an unknown weapon robbed him of $5.

Robbery: A gunman robbed a man of his bike, valued at more than $100, in the 3200 block of Garrison Blvd. on Sunday.

Parkville Precinct

Stolen cars try: Someone tried to steal two Ford Escorts parked Sunday near Dunhaven Place and Walther Boulevard. Each car suffered at least $300 damage.

White Marsh Precinct

Vandalism: A 1987 Ford Thunderbird was parked in the 4900 block of Berryhill Circle yesterday when someone broke the right rear window valued at $150.

Theft: The bumpers, grille and trim, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen during the weekend from a 1995 Isuzu parked at Town & Country Pontiac in the 8900 block of Belair Road.

Burglary: Tools valued at $1,000 were stolen yesterday from a storage area in the back yard of a house in the first block of Greenwood Ave.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Computer equipment valued at more than $3,000 was stolen Sunday from Broadway Medical Management Center in the 2300 block of W. Joppa Road.

Burglary: Electrical circuits valued at $160 were stolen during the weekend from Coldbottom Partnership in the 1200 block of Gerber Lane in Sparks.

Woodlawn Precinct

Burglary: A microwave oven and stereo equipment, all valued at nearly $2,000, were stolen yesterday from a house in the 3300 block of Vargis Circle.

Theft: An air compressor and an air gun, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen yesterday from a 1991 Chevrolet truck parked in the 6500 block of Redgate Circle.

Theft: Four tires valued at $1,000 were stolen over the weekend from a 1995 Ford 150 pickup truck parked at Universal Ford in the 9300 block of Liberty Road.
