Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Western District

Theft: A cordless drill set valued at more than $200 was stolen over the weekend from a car in the 1400 block of W. Franklin St.

Theft: Someone entered a car in the 900 block of N. Fremont Ave. on Saturday after breaking a window and stole 12 cassette tapes.

Shooting: A resident of the 2600 block of Violet Ave. was in the 2200 block of Bryant Ave. on Saturday when he was shot in the left shoulder and right arm. The victim was listed in serious condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Robbery: Two men robbed a resident of the 1300 block of N. Calhoun St. of a gold necklace and three diamond rings, all valued at more than $900, Saturday in the 1100 block of Winchester St.

Church burglary: Someone entered the Gethsemane Baptist Church in the 2500 block of Francis St. over the weekend through a rear window and stole coins of unknown value.

Cab holdup: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a Royal Cab driver of more than $150 Saturday in the 600 block of Cumberland St.

Eastern District

Robbery: Two men, one with a knife, robbed a resident of the vTC 500 block of Kennison Ave. of nearly $200 in the 700 block of E. Biddle St. on Saturday.

Stolen car: A blue four-door 1994 Toyota with tags CFV 469 was stolen Saturday from the 1800 block of N. Washington St.

Stolen car: Police were seeking a blue four-door 1993 Subaru with Pennsylvania tags that was stolen Saturday from the 400 block of N. Chapel St.

Robbery: A resident of the 2000 block of E. Hoffman St. was walking in the 2200 block of Llwelyn Ave. yesterday when she was pushed down by a man who stole her gold-colored purse containing cash and property, all valued at $30.

Robbery: A man with a knife robbed a resident of th 1600 block of Darley Ave. of $17 in the 2200 block of E. Hoffman St. yesterday.

Northeastern District

Burglary: A 13-inch TV valued at nearly $200 was stolen Saturday from a house in the 4100 block of Balfern Ave. by someone who entered after breaking a window.

Burglary: Stereo equipment, a leather coat and a compact disc player, all valued at more than $1,400, were stolen over the weekend from a house in the 1500 block of Upshire Road by someone who entered through a door.

Burglary: Someone entered a garage in the 6600 block of Belford Road through an open window over the weekend and stole lawn tools valued at more than $300.

Burglary: Military gear of unknown value was stolen Saturday from a storage locker at an apartment complex in the 1600 block of E. Belvedere Ave. by someone who ripped off a screen.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A resident of the 5100 block of Woolverton Ave. was in the 5300 block of Cordelia Ave. on Saturday when a gunman robbed him of cash and property, all valued at more than $500.

Stolen car: A 1991 Buick with tags BVC 067 was stolen Saturday from the 5900 block of Western Run Drive.

Robbery: Police were seeking a woman who robbed a resident of the 4200 block of Park Heights Ave. of $10 Saturday while the victim was walking near her home.

Stolen car: A 1992 Chevrolet Cavalier owned by a police officer, with tags FOP0695, was stolen Saturday from the 2700 block of Gatehouse Drive.

Burglary: Property of unknown value was stolen from a trailer owned by a transportation company over the weekend while parked in the 4200 block of Reisterstown Road.

White Marsh Precinct

Theft: Someone entered a 1989 Toyota Tercel parked in the first block of Glendower Court yesterday and stole a radio and a compact disc player, all valued at more than $300.

Towson Precinct

Stolen car: A 1992 Lexus with tags AHW 184 was stolen yesterday from the 6400 block of Cloyster Gate Drive.

Stolen car: After returning from a hunting trip yesterday, a man discovered his 1990 Ford Ranger with tags 80B206 stolen from the 1700 block of E. Joppa Road.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Police were seeking four youths who entered a garage in the first block of Sugarvale Way yesterday and stole a bike. The owner spotted the fleeing youths and gave chase in his car, but they eluded him and police.

Wilkens Precinct

Robbery: A man with a knife robbed the Royal Farm Store in the 4000 block of Wilkens Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money yesterday.

Robbery: A resident of the 4600 block of Parkton St. was leaving a 24-hour teller machine in the 1000 block of Maiden Choice Lane yesterday when she was robbed of an undisclosed sum of money by two men, one of whom implied he was armed with a handgun.
