Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Western District

Shooting: A man was walking to his car in the 100 block of N. Gilmor St. on Wednesday when a gunman approached and fired three shots, wounding the victim once in the groin. The victim was in serious condition yesterday at Sinai Hospital.

Northern District

Robbery: A 34-year-old resident of the 2700 block of Guilford Ave. was at the counter at a grocery store in the 200 block of E. 27th St. on Wednesday when a man pushed him, snatched $10 from his grasp and fled.

Robbery: A Johns Hopkins University student was in the 3200 block of St. Paul St. on Wednesday when a man placed an unknown hard object into his back and robbed him of $5.

Stolen car: A 1985 Jeep with New Jersey tags ABE9531 was stolen Wednesday in the 3400 block of Greenway.

Northwestern District

Burglary: Two gold necklaces and a jacket, all valued at more than $800, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 4100 block of Fairview Ave.

Robbery: A gunman robbed a resident of the 2400 block of W. Cold Spring Lane of a ring valued at $800 and $2 Wednesday in the 2700 block of W. Cold Spring Lane.

Carjacking: A motorist was in the 4400 block of Park Heights Ave. on Wednesday when a gunman robbed him of a $40 money order and his car, a 1991 Hyundai with tags CNN 675.

Central District

Burglary: Several hand and power tools and cash, all valued at more than $100, were stolen yesterday from St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church in the 700 block of N. Calvert St.

Robbery: A man was in the 900 block of Tyson St. Wednesday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $35.

Burglary: Stereo speakers valued at nearly $1,000 were stolen Wednesday from the Club Indigo in the 200 block of N. Greene St.

Robbery: A deliveryman for Continental Foods Inc. was in the 200 block of W. Saratoga St. Wednesday when two gunmen robbed him of an undisclosed sum of money.

Robbery: A man was in the 300 block of W. Baltimore St. on Wednesday when a gunman robbed him of clothing valued at more than $300.

Northeastern District

Stolen car: A 1993 Subaru with tags SSF 514 was stolen Wednesday from the parking lot of the Clifton Park golf course in the 2800 block of St. Lo Drive.

Stolen car: A light blue 1990 Subaru with tags YRP 736 was stolen Wednesday in the 3800 block of Lyndale Ave.

Burglary: Property valued at $1,000 was stolen Wednesday from a house in the 4100 block of Dudley Ave.

Burglary: Stereo equipment valued at $300 and a coin collection worth more than $1,000 were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 1100 block of E. 36th St.

North Point Precinct

Robbery: A woman was standing at Mornington and Dunran roads Wednesday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $400.

Bank robbery: A man gave a teller at the Signet Bank in the first block of Center Place a note demanding money yesterday and escaped with an undisclosed sum. The note also implied the man was armed, but no weapon was displayed.

Theft: Dinnerware valued at more than $100 was stolen Wednesday from a pickup truck parked in the 7900 block of Eastern Ave.

Robbery: A man who implied he was armed robbed the Burger King in the 1000 block of Merritt Blvd. of an undisclosed sum of money Wednesday.

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: While a female resident of an apartment in the first block of Cinnamon Circle was in the kitchen Wednesday afternoon, two men, one with a handgun, entered after knocking the door. They assaulted the woman's male companion and demanded money. They took $800 from a safe and a $500 bracelet from the woman.
