October 19, 1995

Police arrested two Pasadena women on theft charges Monday after videotapes were stolen from a Kmart store in the 8000 block of Ritchie Highway.

A store security guard saw the women walk into the store with two children shortly before 4 p.m. The women took the videos from the store displays and put them into the diaper bags they were carrying, police said.

The security officer stopped them when they walked out of the store without paying for the merchandise. One of the women had 13 tapes and the other had 11, police said. The tapes were worth $312, police said.

Sandra Gail Allen, 27, and Adri- enne Suzanne Sank, 21, both of the 9100 block of Fort Smallwood Road in Pasadena, were

charged with theft.
