Lindsay to manage McCormick plant

McCormick & Co. announced that Gary S. Lindsay was appointed manager of its soon-to-open operations distribution center in Harford County. Mr. Lindsay, a Baltimore native and Parkton resident, is a graduate of Southern High School and Catonsville Community College and is a American Production & Inventory Control Society certified practitioner of inventory management.

Stouffer names Klock catering sales manager

Stouffer Renaissance Harborplace Hotel appointed Helga Klock catering sales manager, with responsibility for sales of all social and corporate catered events. Before joining the hotel staff six years ago, she was manager of a restaurant in Alaska.

Aquarium chooses London for marketing position

National Aquarium in Baltimore selected Denise London as senior director of marketing, heading a 19-member staff engaged in, among other activities, marketing research, advertising, promotional events and membership for the internationally known tourist venue.

In her 20-year career, she has served as marketing director for the Texas State Aquarium and a marketing zone manager for Ford. She has a bachelor's degree from Glassboro State College, and recently relocated from London, where she was a special events consultant.

WMAR-TV selects Rothbard as national sales manager

WMAR-TV named Michael A. Rothbard as national sales manager. He is a University of Maryland graduate with a bachelor's degree in finance and economics. Mr. Rothbard joins Channel 2 from Katz American Television, where he was an account executive.

Jordan joins publisher as vice president

Phillips Publishing Inc. of Potomac announced that James W. Jordan joined the firm as vice president of customer service.

A graduate of Towson State University, he is the former executive vice president of operations for Chicago-based CCC Information Services.

Commercial real estate

Davison takes on duties as chief financial officer

Mount Royal Management Co. announced that John Davison has been named a partner and will assume the duties of chief financial officer. Formerly with the Washington office of Peat Marwick, he is a graduate of the business school at Georgetown University.

Maryland Permanent Bank appointed O'NeillPatricia O'Neill a bank manager.

A lifelong resident of Towson, she was a branch manager for NationsBank.

The locally owned bank based in Owings mills also named Jill M. Moraniec a banking officer for commercial and small business lending.

Katz, Abosch, Windesheim, Gershman & Freedman, accountants and management consultants,named Terry Grant a manager. The University of Baltimore graduate has been with the firm for six years and is assigned to the Towson office.

Ellin & Tucker announced that Penny M. Klein has joined the firm's accounting and auditing staff. She will perform audits, reviews and compile financial statements.

Vaeth Associates names Lester, Rehr partners

George Vaeth Associates announced that Christopher R. Lester and Stuart L. Rehr have been named partners in the Baltimore-based architecture and interior design firm.

Mr. Lester, vice president of architecture, has a bachelor of architecture degree from a Kent State University.

Mr. Rehr, vice president of interior design, holds a bachelor's degree in environmental design from the University of Massachusetts.

He also has a master of architecture degree from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh.

GBMC Healthcare has chosen Russell Frank as vice president of business development. He joins the Towson health facility from Bon Secours National Health System, where he was director of managed care since 1992. Before that, he headed his own national health care consulting firm.
