Hopkins tops Muhlenberg by 3 for 5th straight

ALLENTOWN, Pa. -- Punt returner Mark Guzzo scored a touchdown and set up Johns Hopkins' other score as the Blue Jays edged Muhlenberg, 14-11, yesterday before 840 at Muhlenberg Field.

Hopkins (5-1, 4-0 in the Centennial Conference), which has won five straight, won in Allentown for the first time in eight years.

Guzzo returned a punt 36 yards late in the first quarter to Muhlenberg's 17. Five plays later, Hari Lymon scored on a 5-yard run to put the Blue Jays ahead 7-0.

Midway through the second quarter, Guzzo scored on a 42-yard punt return to give Hopkins a 14-3 lead.
