Two charged in computer theft from Price Club Tuesday

October 13, 1995

Two Baltimore men were arrested Tuesday after an Apple computer and two printers were stolen from the Price Club in Glen Burnie, police said.

The store manager called police after the alarm on an emergency door went off shortly before 3 p.m. A store clerk told police two people had placed three boxes in a car about the time the alarm sounded, police said. The clerk recognized the driver, police said.

An inventory revealed that two printers and a computer were missing. Police identified the driver by checking the car license in Motor Vehicle Administration records, police said. Later, an officer found the driver at his home. The driver then identified the passenger, who was found at his home. The store manager identified both men.

David D. McGuire, 30, of the 200 block of Old Riverside Road in Baltimore and William P. Anthony, 20, of the 1500 block of Spruce Street in Baltimore were arrested and charged with felony theft.
