Extras needed for 'Inspector'

"An Inspector Calls" could be calling you. The Tony Award-winning revival of J. B. Priestley's 1946 thriller is looking for five local actors to play non-speaking roles in crowd scenes during its Mechanic Theatre engagement, Oct. 17-29.

Needed are: One girl, age 8 to 12, must be able to play a 10-year-old and to listen and react; two men, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-11, coat size 36 to 40, regular or short; two women, no taller than 5-foot-7, dress size 6 to 12.

Auditions are at 7 p.m., Friday, at the Mechanic Theatre, Hopkins Plaza. Performers will be paid $500 a week and must be able to make all performances as well as rehearsals Oct. 16 and 17. Call Stacye Levin, (410) 625-4230.
