Hromek leads Detroit Open; Wiseman slips to 13th

Justin Hromek, who won a U.S. Open in Detroit last year, took a 35-pin lead after three rounds of the PBA Greater Detroit Open in Taylor, Mich. Second-round leader Danny Wiseman of Baltimore dropped to 13th place. Tim Criss, of Bel Air, is in 23rd.

Morton out front: Jill Morton averaged 222 for her first six games of qualifying to take a 39-point lead after the first round of qualifying at the LPBT $75,000 Brunswick Three Rivers Open in Pittsburgh.
