The county school system is offering the External Diploma Program, which gives adults with life and/or job experience the opportunity to earn a high school diploma at their own pace.

If you are a self-motivated adult with good skills in reading, writing and math, this may be just what you want.

Participants will be matched with an assessor who will prepare a portfolio of take-home projects, interviews and oral and written activities.

When the portfolio is complete, a nationally accredited diploma is earned.

Locally, the program is being offered at Brooklyn Park/Lindale Middle School on Hammonds Lane.

To register or for more information, call 222-6937.
