October 06, 1995

A Lansdowne woman was arrested on drug charges Wednesday after a monthlong investigation into complaints of drug dealing in Brooklyn Park.

According to police, narcotics detectives suspected that a woman was dealing drugs in the Hillcrest section of Brooklyn Park and sent undercover officers to buy drugs from her.

Over the past month, police said, the officers bought drugs from her four times. The fourth time, about 7 p.m. Wednesday, police arrested the woman at Fourth Street and Orchard Avenue and seized 5.5 grams of crack cocaine divided in 28 plastic bags, police said. The drugs have a street value of $550, police said.

Police arrested Lachelle Holland, 28, of the 2900 block of Lake Brook Circle in Lansdowne and charged her with four counts each of possession and distribution of crack cocaine.
