Artists' benefit to aid fire victims

October 05, 1995|By John Dorsey

A "Bucket Brigade" to benefit the 26 artists whose studios were burned out in last month's Clipper Mill Industrial Park fire will be a feature of tonight's First Thursday activities.

Buckets will be placed on pedestals in the downtown galleries, at the Decker and Meyerhoff galleries of the Maryland Institute, College of Art, at the Baltimore Museum of Art, the Walters Art Gallery, the Charles Theater and elsewhere.

Contributions placed in the buckets will go directly to the Clipper Park Artists Relief Fund.
