Man charged with having drug paraphernalia

October 04, 1995

A Severna Park man was arrested Monday on drug-relate charges behind a 7-Eleven in the 400 block of Jumpers Hole Road, police said.

Two men pulled into the store parking lot shortly before 2:30 a.m., and one of them walked behind the store, police said. The officer followed them and saw one of the men urinating against the building. The officer also saw a pipe sticking out of the pants pocket of one man, police said.

The officer seized the pipe and arrested the man, who allegedly told police he had a bag in the car. Police searched the bag and found another pipe, they said.

Matthew Paul Wenzel, 20, of the 500 block of Jumpers Hole Road was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
