Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Western District

Robbery/Arrest: Police arrested a 28-year-old man as a suspect in the robbery of a woman yesterday in the 1800 block of W. North Ave. The victim, a resident of the 2000 block of Druid Hill Ave., was walking down the street when a man stole her purse. As police drove the woman around the area looking for the man, she spotted the suspect and identified him. The man was being held pending robbery and theft charges.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 2500 block of Druid Hill Ave. through a door Saturday and stole a baby stroller, TV and shoes, all valued at nearly $250.

Burglary: A 20-inch TV and clothing were stolen Saturday from a house in the 1300 block of W. Lexington St. by someone who entered through the front door.

Robbery: A resident of the 200 block of S. Monroe St. was in the 1500 block of W. Baltimore St. on Saturday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $40.

Stolen Car:A two-door blue 1988 Dodge Omni with tags CCK 635 and owned by a Baltimore County resident was stolen yesterday from the 1000 block of Whitelock St.

Southern District

Stolen Truck: A white Freightliner tractor was stolen Saturday from the 1100 block of S. Patapsco Ave.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 700 block of W. Lombard St. over the weekend and stole a microwave oven and an 18-inch TV, all valued at nearly $200.

Robbery/Arrest: Police arrested a suspect in the robbery of a man in the first block of S. Carey St. on Saturday. The victim was walking near his home when the robber beckoned him to enter an alley, knocked him to the pavement and took cash and property, all valued at $60. A short time later, the suspect was arrested and was being held at the station pending charges.

Burglary/Arrest: Food, towels, party plates, light bulbs and other household items, all valued at nearly $90, were stolen over the weekend from a house in the 1500 block of Hollins St. A suspect was arrested and was being held pending charges.

Robbery: A teen-age boy was riding his 20-inch mountain bike in the 1400 block of Ward St. on Saturday when an older youth armed with a knife pressed the weapon to his neck and stole the bike, valued at $500.

Stolen Car: A 1988 Oldsmobile was stolen over the weekend from the 100 block of Scott St.

Stolen Car: Police were seeking a white 1992 Honda that was stolen over the weekend from the 1000 block of Barre St.

Stolen Car: A blue 1988 Mercury was stolen Saturday from the 1600 block of Cereal St. in Curtis Bay.

Northern District

Robbery: A resident of the 1000 block of St. Paul St. was in the first block of W. 25th St. early yesterday when two men, one with a knife, robbed him of $15.

Robbery: Two men robbed a 40-year-old man in the 5200 block of York Road on Saturday. The victim, from the 5000 block of Ready Ave., was sprayed in the face with an unknown substance and robbed of cash and property, all valued at more than $300.

Burglary: Stereo equipment and a vacuum cleaner, all valued at nearly $900, were stolen from a house in the 3100 block of Ellerslie Ave. over the weekend by someone who entered through a window.

Robbery: A deliveryman for Deal Pizza in the 4400 block of Park Heights Ave. was arriving with an order in the 2400 block of Loyola Northway on Saturday night when he was robbed of an undisclosed sum of money by a gunman.

Eastern District

Robbery: A 45-year-old resident of the 2400 block of Ashland Ave. was walking near his home Saturday when a gunman robbed him of $80. During the robbery, the gunman fired two shots but no injury resulted.

Robbery: A 29-year-old resident of the 2800 block of Pelham Ave. was in the 1400 block of N. Gay St. on Saturday when a man robbed him of his wallet. There was no money in the wallet.

CUTTING: Police were seeking a 17-year-old boy who attacked a resident of the 4100 block of Erdman Ave. in the 1400 block of Cliftview Ave. Saturday and cut him on the right hand with a knife. The victim was treated at Union Memorial Hospital.

Stolen Car: A 1991 Plymouth Laser with tags BWP 212 was

stolen over the weekend from the 1400 block of N. Chester St.

Stolen Car: A champagne-colored 1991 Chevrolet with tags PVW 168 was stolen Saturday from the 1500 block of N. Potomac St.

Theft: Someone entered a car parked in the 600 block of N. Collington Ave. over the weekend by breaking a window and stole a briefcase valued at $75.

Towson Precinct

Theft: Stereo equipment valued at $500 was stolen yesterdafrom a car parked in the 7700 block of Greenview Terrace.

Cockeysville Precinct

Robbery: A gunman robbed the Rite-Aid pharmacy in the Cranbrook Shopping Center in the 500 block of Cranbrook Road on Saturday night of an undisclosed sum of money. While an employee was counting the day's receipts, a man called out that he needed assistance. When the employee opened the office door, the man pulled out a handgun and demanded money.

Wilkens Precinct

Robbery/Murder Try: A 48-year-old resident of the first block of -- N. Mount St. in Baltimore was in the 3900 block of Hollins Ferry Road Saturday afternoon when a man stole her purse after a struggle, during which the victim injured an arm. As the man fled, a motorist who witnessed the crime followed the robber. A few blocks away, the suspect turned and fired at least two shots at the motorist but missed. Later, police found the robbery victim's empty purse that had contained cash and property, all valued at more than $100.
