Chamber of Commerce chooses Mason

City Chamber of Commerce has announced the selection of Ben Mason as executive vice president and chief administrative officer. Mr. Mason had been acting director for the almost 3-year-old organization for the past 15 months.

EPI Communications names Fox as controller

EPI Communications, headquartered in Rockville, appointed Michael W. Fox as controller. The Northeastern University graduate and former chief financial officer for KSK Communications also will manage the fiscal affairs of the Colorfax chain of photo-finishing and imaging centers. Millman Search Group, a national retail industry executive search firm in Lutherville, announced the appointment of Jennifer McCarthy to the newly created position of marketing coordinator. Formerly a sales and marketing representative with Pitney Bowes, she is a graduate of Indiana University with a degree in marketing and economics.

Wilson-Grem takes Loyola College PR post

Loyola College appointed Leslie Wilson-Grem assistant director of public relations and manager of the news bureau. A former account executive with Image Dynamics and Eisner, Petrou & Associates, the Timonium resident is a fine arts graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design.

Gregg appointed communications director

The Enterprise Foundation named Sandra Gregg director of communications for the nonprofit group headquartered in Columbia. Before joining the foundation, she held a similar position with the United Negro College Fund and the Washington Hospital Center. Previously, she was Southern bureau chief for U.S. News & World Report magazine.

Eisner & Associates appoints Novick

Eisner & Associates announced the appointment of Abe Novick to vice president and director of new business development for the Baltimore-based advertising agency. He comes to Eisner from Ciociola & Co. Before that, Mr. Novick was with Calet, Hirsch & Ferrell. Classic Communications Corp. has added Suzanne C. Frye to the staff as a public relations assistant. She comes to the agency from Home Team Sports, where she was a communications assistant. She also was an account executive with the West Virginia Travel & Tourism Council. A journalism graduate of West Virginia University, she resides in Columbia.

Yasinow joins W. B. Doner & Co.

W. B. Doner & Co. named Robin Yasinow to the staff as a public relations account executive. A graduate of Goucher College, she has a master's degree from the Institute of Communications Studies, University of Leeds (England).

Lattimer appointed by First United Bank

First United Bank & Trust, headquartered in Oakland, appointed Kim E. Lattimer community office manager in its Cumberland branch.

A graduate of Frostburg State University and Allegany Community College, she holds degrees in business administration and finance. The Cumberland resident also is a licensed insurance agent and commissioned notary public.

McShane Group names Robinson a consultant

McShane Group, a regional management consulting firm headquartered in Timonium, announced that John J. Robinson, a former senior vice president of NationsBank, joined the company as a consultant. He will be part of the crisis management team and will specialize in banking, reorganization and cash flow. He is advisory board chairman of the University of Baltimore's Hoffberger Center for Professional Ethics. Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants appointed Claudia R. Wolter to the construction accounting committee. She is with the Towson office of Katz, Abosch, Windesheim, Gershman & Freedman.

McCrone Inc. appoints Parker as a drafter

McCrone, Inc., a multidisciplinary engineering and planning firm headquartered in Prince Frederick, appointed Rebbia L. Parker, formerly with Baldwin & Sampson, to its staff as a drafter. The Calvert County resident is a graduate of the Maryland Drafting Institute and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering. Helix Health has selected Dr. William L. Thomas senior vice president for medical affairs and clinical integration. He was on the staff of Franklin Square Hospital for 11 years, and was vice president of medical affairs and director of medical education at that facility. He received hismedical degree from the University of Connecticut. Nottingham Properties, a di- versified real estate developer has chosen John Macsherry vice president and director of marketing.

A 10-year veteran of the firm, Mr. Macsherry was most recently Nottingham's leasing vice president.
