S. Carroll High adds several faculty members

South Carroll High School has welcomed six new members to its faculty for 1995-1996.

* Matt Davis, business teacher, has a degree from York College. He taught previously in Baltimore County.

* Dawn Geisler is a special education resource teacher. She has a bachelor's degree in physical education and certificate in special education from Towson State University.

* Julie Horwitz has been hired as an English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) instructor to assist those who speak English as a second language. Born in Cuba, she has a bachelor's degree in psychology and an endorsement in ESOL from the University of Florida.

* Jeff Leister is teaching auto technology. He has been in the field for 25 years and previously taught at Catonsville Community College.

* Lori Powell has become a permanent staff member after being a long-term substitute teacher. She teaches agriculture and is Future Farmers of America adviser. She has a bachelor's degree horticulture from Virginia Tech University.

* Jane Owsianiecki, formerly a teacher at North Carroll Middle School, is a member of the math department. She has a bachelor's degree in math and master's degree in curriculum

and instruction from Western Maryland College.
