Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Northwestern District

Burglary: Computer equipment valued at $2,000 was stolen Wednesday from a house in the 6000 block of Park Heights Ave.

Northern District

Stolen Car: A blue 1992 Acura with tags APH 141 and equipped with an alarm was stolen Wednesday in the 5700 block of St. Albans Way.

Stolen Car: A 1989 Chevrolet Astro van with tags AAT68E was stolen Wednesday from the parking lot of the Rotunda Mall in the 700 block of W. 40th St.

JTC Burglary: Photo equipment and jewelry, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 2700 block of N. Charles St.

Southwestern District

Cab Holdup: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a Royal cab driver of less than $100 yesterday in the 4400 block of Cedar Garden Road. The cabbie was struck with the weapon but was not seriously injured.

Robbery: A 34-year-old Springfield, Va., man was driving his pickup truck in the 4500 block of Old Frederick Road Wednesday night when a man threw a rock, shattering the driver's side window and hitting him in the hand. When the driver stopped the truck, the assailant then stole the driver's cellular phone and its leather case, all valued at more than $200.

Northeastern District

Robbery/Arrest: An 85-year-old resident of the 1500 block of Sheffield Road was about to enter his home Wednesday when he was shoved inside by two men who assaulted him and robbed him of his wallet, cash, a police scanner, flashlight and radio. Later, police arrested William Lonnie Wright, 31, of the 6500 block of Pioneer Drive, and charged him with assault with intent to murder, robbery and burglary. The second suspect was being sought.

Carjacking/Arrests: Western District police arrested three men on North Schroeder Street Wednesday and were holding them in connection with a carjacking that occurred the same day in the 4200 block of Erdman Ave. In the suspects' car, police found tires from the stolen 1989 BMW, whose owner was forced from the vehicle. In addition to a carjacking charge, the suspects face drug and handgun charges.

White Marsh Precinct

Attempted Murder/Arrest: A resident of the 6000 block of Framingham Road in Rosedale was arrested in connection with the stabbing of her boyfriend during an incident at the woman's home early yesterday. The man was being treated at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

Essex Precinct

Stolen Car/Arrest: Officer Michael Greco spotted a stolen 1995 Chevrolet parked yesterday in an alley behind the first block of Fenway South and arrested the occupant. Mark Swann, 20, of no fixed address, was charged with auto theft and was being held at the county Detention Center on $20,000 bond. The car was stolen Wednesday in the 2100 block of Coralthorn Road.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A 20-year-old resident of the 8500 block of Pleasant Plains Road was walking near his home Wednesday night when a gunman robbed him of his wallet and cash.

Robbery: A gunman robbed the Wawa store in the 6000 block of Falls Road Wednesday night of an undisclosed sum of money and escaped in a black car with a loud muffler.

Robbery: While being shown a ring at Radcliffe Jewelers at the Towson Town Center in the 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road yesterday, a man grabbed it from an employee's hand and fled.

The ring's value was not disclosed.
