Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Southern District

Stolen Car: A 1992 Acura with tags G18BK was stolen yesterday in the 2000 block of Haines St.

Southeastern District

Burglary/Arrests: Two men were arrested Tuesday after they stole lumber from the Grasmick Lumber Co. in the 6700 block of Quad Ave. They face burglary and theft charges.

Purse Snatch: A resident of the 200 block of S. Robinson St. was about to enter her home Tuesday when a man approached from behind and stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $100.

Robbery: A resident of the 3300 block of Chesterfield Ave. was walking across the parking lot of the 7-Eleven store in the 3100 block of Pulaski Highway Tuesday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $5.

Northwestern District

Purse Snatch: An 85-year-old resident of the 6800 block of Park Heights Ave. was walking a block from her home Tuesday when a man in his 20s stole her purse containing $55, eyeglasses and keys.

Northern District

Robbery: A 62-year-old resident of the 2900 block of Andrea Ave. was in the 2500 block of N. Calvert St. on Tuesday when a gunman robbed him of more than $200.

Central District

Carjacking: A gunman forced his way into a 1989 Ford F-150 pickup truck in the 1600 block of N. Calvert St. on Tuesday, ordered the driver out and drove off. The pickup, with tags 398194, had a refrigerator in the back.

Northeastern District

Robbery: Four men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 2500 block of Perring Manor Road of more than $600 Tuesday while the victim walked near his home.

Rape: Police were seeking a man who raped a woman in the 1300 block of Fillmore St. Tuesday night. The suspect is known by the victim, who was treated at Mercy Medical Center.

North Point Precinct

Stolen Car: A black 1987 Buick Regal with tags 914 AAK was stolen yesterday in the 2500 block of Ambler Road.

Wilkens Precinct

Robbery: A man with a sawed-off shotgun robbed the High's dairy store in the 5200 block Baltimore National Pike Tuesday of an undisclosed sum of money.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Foreign coins valued at more than $3,700 were stolen over the summer from a safe in a house in the 8200 block of Melody Lane. The incident was reported Tuesday.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Electronic equipment and jewelry, all valued at more than $3,000, was stolen Tuesday from an apartment in the 10000 block of Gelding Drive.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A 77-year-old woman was about to enter her home in the 700 block of Overbrook Road yesterday when a man grabbed her by the arm and stole her purse containing a small sum of cash.
