City men killed in Glen Burnie crash identified

September 25, 1995|By SUN STAFF

The State Medical Examiner's Office has identified the two men killed instantly Thursday when the stolen 1987 Camaro in which they were riding slammed into the back of a tractor-trailer on Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie at about 100 mph and was ripped in half.

The two were John Bowman, 22, and William Bowman, 20, both of the 1100 block of Nanticoke St. in Baltimore, investigators said.

Car parts were strewn across the northbound lanes of Route 2, backing up morning rush-hour traffic for miles as police closed all northbound lanes and two of the three southbound lanes.
