City police release picture of woman fatally shot Sept. 11 in Waverly

Seeking to identify a woman who was slain Sept. 11 in North Baltimore, police yesterday released a computer-enhanced photograph of the victim.

The woman, who had been shot in the face, was found dead in the 3700 block of Old York Road in Waverly.

Police believe she was shot by a man with whom she had been arguing.

The victim was described as black, 25 to 30, 5 feet 6 and 112 pounds. Both ears were double-pierced. She was wearing a white Nike T-shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

Also yesterday, police identified a man who was fatally shot in the 1700 block of E. Oliver St. on Monday as Damon Anderson, 22, of the 5100 block of Arbutus Ave. in the Pimlico section of Northwest Baltimore.

Two Eastern District officers on routine patrol shortly before 6 a.m. heard several gunshots and found Mr. Anderson lying on the pavement bleeding from five gunshot wounds.

In another homicide, police reported that Kelvin T. Davis, 29, of the 2100 block of Chelsea Terrace in West Baltimore was shot to death Monday in his 1994 Toyota 4-Runner parked in front of his residence.

Anyone with information about the slayings is asked to call the homicide squad at 396-2100.
