POLICE

* Westminster: A resident of Liberty Street reported to city police that someone damaged his car Saturday in an apparent attempt to gain entry. Damage to the vehicle, parked near his home, was estimated at $300.

Another resident of Liberty Street told city police that someone broke into her auto Saturday and stole property. The vehicle was parked near her home. Her loss was estimated at $100.

A resident of Westmoreland Street reported to city police that someone damaged the windshield of his auto while it was parked near his home Sept. 4. The damage was estimated at $150.

A John Street resident told police that someone threw eggs on her car near her home Sept. 4, causing an $100 estimated damage.

FIRE

* Westminster: Westminster, New Windsor, Pleasant Valley and Union Bridge were dispatched to a charcoal grill fire in the 500 block of Congressional Drive at 8:13 p.m. Saturday. Units were out 20 minutes.

Pleasant Valley responded to a woods fire on Hughes Shop Road at 5:58 a.m. Saturday. They were out 24 minutes.

Westminster responded to an auto fire on Englar Road at 9:35 p.m. Friday. They were out 15 minutes.
