Salisbury falls, 22-3

EWING TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- David Johnston made three field goals and Trenton State held Salisbury State to 11 yards rushing as the Lions defeated the Seagulls, 22-3, last night in the season opener for both Division III teams.

Sea Gulls quarterback David Doy completed 15 of 31 passes for 162 yards but was intercepted twice. Salisbury State also was penalized 12 times for 121 yards.
