ROBBERY: Western District -- In the 2400 block of Pennsylvania Ave. yesterday, a man robbed a resident of the 1600 block of N. Calvert St. of her cash and jewelry, all valued at $382.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 3300 block of Spaulding Ave. in Pimlico of $125 in the 1700 block of Edmondson Ave. yesterday.

CARJACKING: Northern District -- A man with a knife forced his way into a car being driven by a 30-year-old Baltimore County motorist in the 2400 block of W. Cold Spring Lane. The assailant ordered the driver to take him downtown, but when they arrived at Cold Spring Lane and Interstate-83, the driver stopped and jumped out. The assailant drove off in the 1992 Geo Prism with tags CLD 115.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A red, 4-door 1990 Jeep with tags 504967M was stolen yesterday from the parking lot at the Boys' Latin School in the 800 block of W. Lake Ave.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone entered Big Pole Wood Turning in the 2900 block of Falls Road yesterday through a door and stole a circular saw valued at more than $200.

SHOOTING: Southwestern District -- A 26-year-old resident of the first block of Cromarty Road in western Baltimore County was in the 4600 block of Edmondson Ave. yesterday when he was approached by a man who accused him of stealing his property. When the victim denied the accusation, the other man pulled out a handgun and began firing, hitting the victim in the left leg. The gunman fled. The victim was taken by ambulance to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was listed in serious but stable condition.

Baltimore County

ROBBERY: North Point Precinct -- A 42-year-old driver for North Point Cab Co. was at Bear Ridge and Lynch roads yesterday when three men entered his vehicle and told him to drive to Turners Station. At Maryland and Avon avenues, one of the men pulled out a handgun and robbed the driver of $45.

BURGLARY: Towson Precinct -- Someone entered an apartment the 6600 block of Collinsdale Road near Loch Raven Blvd. through a bedroom window yesterday and stole a compact disc player valued at more than $100.

BURGLARY: Cockeysville Precinct -- A keyboard, amplifier and cash, all valued at more than $800, were stolen yesterday from an apartment in the first block of Alexander Chase Court by someone who entered through a rear door.

BURGLARY: Garrison Precinct -- A telephone valued at more than $70 was stolen from an apartment in the 200 block of Carroway Road in Reisterstown yesterday by someone who apparently entered with a key.
