Man takes cash from Dash In store

A man holding a white T-shirt over his face robbed a Dash In food store in the 7800 block of Quarterfield Road in Glen Burnie yesterday of an undisclosed amount of money, county police said.

Police said the man walked into the store about 1:30 a.m., approached a clerk who was stocking merchandise and demanded money.

The clerk gave the man cash, and the bandit ran from the store toward Park West Drive, police said.

Pedestrian robbed on Crain Highway

A Glen Burnie man was robbed at knifepoint shortly before 10:30 p.m. Tuesday as he walked in the 7900 block of Crain Highway, county police said. The man was not injured.

Police said Eric Howard Francis, 28, was approached by a man who displayed a knife. Mr. Francis gave the man an undisclosed amount of money, and the culprit ran southbound on Crainmont Drive.
