Man charged with destruction of property

September 07, 1995

County police arrested a Pasadena man Tuesday for allegedly vandalizing a 1978 Chevy Malibu parked in the 100 block of Sloan Drive in Glen Burnie.

Police said they were called about 3:15 a.m. by a neighbor who saw someone smashing the windows and tail lights of the car.

When police arrived, they saw a man fitting the description of the suspect walking up Sloan Drive and stopped him.

The man was bleeding from cuts on his hands and he was holding a large silver wrench, police said.

When police asked the man his name and where he was coming from, he admitted breaking windows on the car. He said he was angry because the owner would not pay him $10 he was owed, police said.

James Russell Hall, 48, of the 7800 block of Levy Court in Pasadena, was charged with destruction of property.
