Is $10 a copy pricey for the commemorative booklet from the Howard County Fair in August? In truth, the 92-page full-color book is worth more than its price. It's filled with historical notes of the county and the fair. Hundreds of pictures and names familiar to western Howard County residents make the book lively. You can still buy a copy at NationsBank in West Friendship, Sandy Spring National Bank in Lisbon or at Gemini Flowers in West Friendship.
