ROBBERY: Central District -- A resident of the 2500 block of Brohawn Ave. in South Baltimore was walking in the 1700 block of N. Charles St. Sunday evening after getting off an MTA bus when a man pressed a knife to her throat, removed $35 from her purse and fled. The woman was not injured.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- A tan doormat valued at $30 was stolen from the front porch of a house in the 1100 block of S. Kenwood Ave. Monday.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 5900 block of Chinquapin Parkway was in the 5800 block of York Road Monday night when a man robbed him of his wallet containing more than $500.

Baltimore County

ROBBERY TRY/ARREST: Essex Precinct -- Police arrested a man who attempted to rob his girlfriend at Eastern Boulevard and Stuart Street Monday afternoon after an argument.

SUSPICIOUS FIRE: Essex Precinct -- A truck owned by the A-1 Roofing Co. in the 7200 block of Golden Ring Road was destroyed by fire Monday while parked in the 400 block of Langley Road. It was not immediately known if the fire was intentionally set. The incident remains under investigation.

BURGLARY: Cockeysville Precinct -- Someone broke into Saco Supply in the 100 block of Cockeysville Road Monday morning after breaking a window. When police responded to a burglar alarm, they found power tools stacked near the store's office. No arrests were made.

HARFORD COUNTY

THEFT: Abingdon -- A 1995 Seadoo personal watercraft and its trailer, valued at a total of nearly $8,000, were stolen over the weekend from the side of a house on Ashton Road. The trailer had tags 443929G.
