Two men steal 11 coats from J. C. Penney store

September 01, 1995

Two men walked out of the J. C. Penney store in Marley Station Tuesday with more than $1,300 worth of full-length coats, county police said.

Police said a store security officer saw the men carrying a large number of women's coats to a white Nissan Altima parked outside the main doors of the store about 1 p.m.

The men tossed the coats in the car and fled. Employees later foundthat 11 women's coats were missing from the store's displays.
