BUSINESS NOTES
Mr. Etzler, of Taneytown, holds a diploma in banking from the American Institute of Banking, is a graduate of the Maryland Banking School and is a 1994 graduate of the Central Atlantic School of Trust, Bucknell University.
He is expanding the scope of the department to include personal retirement and business 401K plans. Westminster pharmacist Arthur N. Riley, co-owner of Washington Heights Pharmacy, has been named a Certified Diabetes Educator. Mr. Riley passed a written exam given by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators.
The board was established in 1986 to develop and administer a certification program for health professionals to teach people with diabetes how to manage the disease.
