BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 3600 block of Paine St. yesterday through a basement door and stole an 18-speed bike valued at $300.
ROBBERY: Northern District -- A truck driver from North Carolina was northbound in the 2100 block of N. Calvert St. yesterday when he stopped after believing he sideswiped a parked car. While out of his truck, the driver was accosted by two men who beat him with their fists and kicked him before stealing a TV, VCR, a CB radio and a radar detector, all valued at more than $600, from the cab of the truck.
STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1987 Oldsmobile with District of Columbia tags was stolen yesterday from the 700 block of McCabe Ave.
THEFT: Northern District -- A woman stole a suit valued at more than $400 from Octavia's at the Village of Cross Keys in the 5100 block of Falls Road yesterday.
THEFT: Northwestern District -- A resident of Brooklyn, N.Y., was in the 4400 block of Park Heights Ave. yesterday when she was attacked by a couple who robbed her of more than $30 and personal property.
BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 4900 block of Clifton Ave. yesterday and stole an answering machine, a telephone, a TV remote controller and $120.

THEFT/ARREST: North Point Precinct -- Police arrested a man yesterday after he attempted to leave Record Town at the North Point Mall in the 7800 block of Eastern Ave. without paying for a radio valued at $50. Charged with theft and held at the precinct in lieu of $1,000 bond was Alfred Harmonn, 31, of no fixed address.
THEFT/ARREST: North Point Precinct -- A 28-year-old resident of the 900 block of Avenue C in Edgemere was arrested Monday when she attempted to leave the J.C. Penney store at the Eastpoint Mall without paying for a purse and clothing, all valued at nearly $300.
ROBBERY: Woodlawn Precinct -- A couple robbed the High's dairy store in the 8700 block of Liberty Road of money from the cash register, state lottery receipts and a safe after forcing a female employee into a back room, where he bound her hands with a set of Christmas lights.
BURGLARY: Towson Precinct -- Someone broke into Gaetano's Pizza in the 1000 block of Taylor Ave. yesterday through an unlocked window and stole a cash register and the money inside, all valued at more than $700.
ROBBERY: Towson Precinct -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed the Atlantic cleaners in the 700 block of Walker Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money yesterday and escaped in a tan Buick with tags XDT 460. Police said the car had been stolen in the city.
THEFT: Cockeysville Precinct -- A Sun newspaper box was stolen yesterday from its location at Cranbrook and York roads. The box and its contents were valued at more than $300.
BURGLARY: Cockeysville Precinct -- Someone entered a garage Piney Creek Court yesterday and stole a green 1990 Kawasaki motorcycle and tools, all valued at nearly $3,000.
