* "Breakthroughs: Amazing Things To Come" (8 p.m.-9 p.m., WBAL, Channel 11) -- James Todd Smith, better known as LL Cool J of the series "In the House," is the host of a special examining how technology is changing our lives. For example, we see what is billed as the world's first on-line wedding, cars that drive themselves and homes that read our minds. Gee, couldn't your mom do that years ago? NBC.
* "Grace Under Fire" (8 p.m.-8:30 p.m., WMAR, Channel 2) -- If you came in late, here is the premiere episode of the hit series that stars Brett Butler as a divorced woman raising three kids under difficult circumstances. (Another repeat episode airs at 9 p.m.) ABC.

* "Biography" (8 p.m.-9 p.m., A&E Network) -- As Hollywood reporters speculate that Robert De Niro will play the part in a movie treatment of Walter Winchell's life, the series takes a look at the newspaper gossip columnist. At the height of his $l popularity, it is said he had 60 million readers -- about a third of the U.S. population at the time.
* "Wounded Heart" (9 p.m.-11 p.m., USA) -- Paula DeVicq, of the Fox series "Party of Five," stars as a Wall Street broker called back to Texas to take care of her father (Stuart Whitman), who has had a stroke. Her stepbrother (Jon Hensley, of "As the World Turns") tries to help her re-evaluate her own life.
* "American Justice" (9 p.m.-10 p.m., A&E Network) -- It's a night for deceased pop stars. The series profiles Mark David Chapman, the man convicted of shooting and killing John Lennon.
* "Change of Habit" (8 p.m.-10:05 p.m., TNT) -- Mary Tyler Moore plays a nun as she co-stars with Elvis Presley in this 1969 film -- the first of three of The King's movies. Also being aired: "Clambake" (1967, at 10:05 p.m.) and "Kissin' Cousins" (1964, at 2:20 a.m.).
