A Jessup sandwich shop was robbed Wednesday by two men, one of whom said he had a gun in his pocket, Howard County police said.
The Subway in the 8600 block of Washington Blvd. was robbed after two men entered the shop and approached a clerk at 10:10 p.m. One of the men, his hand in a right pocket, ordered the clerk to open the rear employee door and to turn over all the money in the store, police said.
When the worker followed the robber's instructions, the men ran from the store with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
The man who indicated he had a gun was described as a 5-foot-8-inch-tall black male weighing 150 to 160 pounds. The second robber was described as a 6-foot-tall black male, weighing 170 pounds and wearing a brown and white shirt and jeans, police said.

10000 block of N. Second St.: A maroon 1990 Mitsubishi Galant was stolen from the lot of International Cars after someone broke the business' window with a car battery and stole keys from inside late Tuesday or early Wednesday, police said.
