ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 2800 block of N. Howard St. was walking away from an ATM in the 2600 block of Maryland Ave. yesterday after withdrawing money when two men robbed him of more than $60 while implying they were armed.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A 77-year-old man was in the 2800 block of Guilford Ave. yesterday when a man robbed him of $30.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a garage in the 5000 block of St. Alban's Way yesterday and stole a 35-foot aluminum ladder valued at $200.

SHOOTING: Northwestern District -- Police were seeking a man who shot a resident of the 2500 block of Loyola Southway in the lower back during an incident yesterday in the 4200 block of Pimlico Road. The victim was listed in good condition at Sinai Hospital.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- A gas-operated lawnmower and a weed eater, all valued at nearly $400, were stolen yesterday from a garage in the 5800 block of Pimlico Road.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 2400 block of Madison Ave. of jewelry and cash, all valued at nearly $700, in the 1100 block of W. Baltimore St. yesterday.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men robbed a resident of the 2100 block of Vine St. of cash and jewelry, all valued at $153, in the 2200 block of Edmondson Ave. yesterday.

ATTEMPTED MURDER/ARREST: Woodlawn Precinct -- A man who allegedly fired several shots at employees of a used-car firm in the 5900 block of Liberty Road when salesmen refused to buy his girlfriend's car was arrested and charged with three counts of attempted murder and multiple handgun violations. No injuries were reported. Police reported that while the man's girlfriend argued with three salesmen at Magic Motors, the man allegedly fired two rounds from a 9 mm handgun into the air. Police said he then fired 11 more shots over the salesmen's heads and hit two cars and the building with three more shots as he drove off. Timothy Eugene Martin, 24, of the first block of Cue Court in Owings Mills was arrested without incident near his home and was being held pending a bail hearing. The gun was recovered.

ROBBERY: Cockeysville Precinct -- Two men, one armed, robbed the Roy Rogers restaurant in the first block of Cranbrook Road of an undisclosed sum of money yesterday.
