Lori Evans elected president of group

Lori Evans was recently elected president of the Maryland Capital Chapter of the American Business Women's Association.

Valere Zornm was elected vice president; Gale Scavone was chosen as treasurer; and Barbara Duvall was picked as secretary.

NAH foundation hires Kelly Sheridan

The North Arundel Hospital Foundation has hired Kelly Sheridan of Glen Burnie as the fund development assistant.

In her new position, Ms. Sheridan will be publications editor and special events planner.

Before joining the foundation, Ms. Sheridan worked in private education for Town Catholic High School.

Vittek, Stoll receive credit union awards

Brian J. Vittek, chief operations officer for Anne Arundel County Employees Federal Credit Union (AACEFCU) was the recipient of two Trailblazer Awards for excellence in marketing, and Richard L. Stoll, president/CEO of the credit union was honored as 1995 Professional of the Year at the recent 61st annual Maryland Credit Union League Convention.

Mr. Vittek was awarded for the best newsletter in the professional category and for the best direct mail piece in the nonprofessional category. This is the second consecutive year that Mr. Vittek has received recognition at the convention.

Mr. Stoll was honored for his exceptional service to the credit union movement and 13 years of service to AACEFCU.

Engelau promoted at oil company

Roger L. Engelau has been promoted to general manager at Southern Maryland Oil (SMO) after acting as general manager for the past three months.

Mr. Engelau will be responsible for managing SMO plants in Annapolis, Clinton, La Plata, Mechanicsville and Owings.

Monica Yashinskie is promoted at Amos

C. W. Amos & Co. LLC, a local accounting and consulting firm, recently promoted Monica L. Yashinskie to supervisor in the accounting and auditing department in the Annapolis office.
