Marie M. Moran

Lifelong city resident

Marie M. Moran, who lived in the same house in Highlandtown all of her life, died there Sunday of cancer. She was 78. The former Marie M. Oswinkle was active in the Patterson Park Baptist Church, teaching nursery school classes in its Sunday and vacation Bible schools and serving on committees.

Services were to be held at noon today at Charles S. Zeiler and Son Inc., 6224 Eastern Ave.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Vernon C. Moran; two daughters, Ruth Sutherlin of Fairfax, Va., and Joan Weigand of Edgewood; a stepsister, Jean Sagner of Florida; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
